McBurney Transport Group is one of Ireland’s largest independent logistics operations. They came to us wanting a new and sophisticated mobile app which allowed their drivers to interact with the main office while on the road. This would save time currently taken on manual talks and help provide improved customer service. The problem was that they’d previously asked another agency to create this app, but had been let down due to a number of problems and issues. It was therefore our task to rescue the project and deliver a fully working mobile solution that allowed drivers to communicate in real-time from remote locations and streamline office work previously manually performed, all while meeting all regulatory compliance concerning data.

Our expert team worked closely with the client to deliver a scalable cross-platform mobile app in under three months on budget. This provided instant digitised proof of delivery to customers, which was not previously possible. It also allowed drivers to carry out pre-trip checks which detailed any vehicle issues, which was something previously recorded manually. Last and by no means least, the app allowed support staff to track drivers, estimate delivery times and see when jobs had been completed. All this meant better communications with drivers, up-to-date delivery data and improved vehicle management.
